Jung Woo-sung’s past remarks resurface amid illegitimate child scandal “I want to find a woman and have children”

In an October 2010 interview promoting the film “Reign of Assassins”, Jung Woo-sung spoke candidly about his views on relationships. He said, “If I’m interested in someone, I don’t pretend or beat around the bush. I approach them directly and try to win them over.”
He added, “Sometimes that makes the person retreat. Maybe I should pretend to be more casual and approach them slowly from now on.”

When asked if he maintained friendships with the many famous actresses he had worked with, he replied, “I occasionally ask after them. Sometimes, I think I should’ve dated them when we were filming. I should’ve dated around more. Why did I miss those great opportunities?”
On whether there were any actresses he wanted to work with, Jung Woo-sung quipped, “I want to work with every actress in the world.”
Addressing the perception of his glamorous but lonely lifestyle, he remarked, “Hardships are fleeting, just like fashionable clothes eventually go out of style. Once they pass, they’re gone.”
One key part of the interview was his thoughts on having children. When asked if he envied Jang Dong-gun and Go So-young, he said, “I wasn’t envious when they got married, but when I heard about their son, I did feel envious. I admired how they built a family.”
He emphasized, “I want to find a woman and have children. You can’t just have children without a partner, can you? Adoption? First, I need to meet a woman.” He predicted that in his 40s or 50s, he would have one or two children with someone he loved.

Recently, Jung Woo-sung confirmed he has a child with Moon Gabi. His agency Artist Company stated on November 24th, “The child Moon Gabi revealed through SNS is indeed Jung Woo-sung’s biological child. Discussions are ongoing regarding the best approach to raising the child, and Jung Woo-sung will do his utmost as a father.”
Moon Gabi announced her childbirth on Instagram on November 22nd, surprising many as she had not shared any public details about a relationship or marriage. The revelation of Jung Woo-sung as the child’s father followed soon after.
However, the agency declined to comment on rumors of conflict between Jung Woo-sung and Moon Gabi regarding parenting or marriage, allegations of relationships with multiple women, or claims that Jung Woo-sung had sent Instagram DMs to non-celebrity women to arrange meetings. The agency stated “These are matters of the actor’s private life and are difficult to confirm”, neither affirming nor denying the claims.
